New album Dear John out now!

Today is a special day, because my latest album is finally out in the Netherlands and the rest of the world (except Japan, it’s already out there on P-vine). I could’t wait to share with you how happy I am to release this album called “Dear John” : a tribute to the legendary drummer John Engels.
For a long time, it had been my wish to just enter an empty theatre with a group of soul mates, play for 2 days and keep the best tracks. Well, I found my soul mates for this record in Karel Boehlee on piano, Aram Kersbergen on the double bass and off course mr. John Engels himself on the drums. Right from the first track the whole thing felt more like a celebration to me than an actual recording session, and that was exactly what I had wished for. And to tell you the truth, after such a nice jam session without separated recordings and headphones, I think my next album will be recorded exactly the same way.
I hope you all will enjoy the record. If you can’t find it, just send me a personal massage and I will send you a copy personally. And good news for the people with vinyl- fetish: The vinyl version will be released in June.
